Within Tanzania's renowned northern safari circuit, Simbavati Grumeti is at home on the open plains between the Serengeti National Park and the Grumeti River.

It is on these acacia dotted plains that multitudes of wildlife congregate all year round in a game viewing spectacular.

These plains also play host to vast herds of wildebeest, which assemble during their annual migration and move between the north and south of the Serengeti National Park. You may also be lucky enough to see buffalo, giraffe, lion and other wildlife from your tent and the lodge.
